Pizza Club at Pizza Bella
Our Pizza Club raved about Pizza Bella downtown. I think this was a favorite of most of the group so far. I was totally off my game and left the ranking ballots at home so we'll have to catch up next time!
Benny's boo boo
Yesterday was a rough day. We knew that Ben had hurt his leg over the weekend, but didn't think it was too serious until later Sunday afternoon. So first thing Monday morning we started at the Pediatrician. Then, we went for X-rays, then we made our way to Children's Mercy so they could put a splint on his fracture. He has a little fracture on the front of his right shin above his ankle. It's the saddest thing to see him try to hobble around. The hardest part of his day was definitely getting the X-rays, but besides that he was a pretty happy camper for the situation. We couldn't have asked for better behavior from Bella either. She was very concerned about Benjamin getting all better. We go to the orthopedic specialist on Wednesday to make sure we're on the right track for healing!
Touch a Truck
I was so excited for this free event! Well it cost us 8 can goods for Harvesters, but what a great cause! We were one of the first 200 families there so we got a free swag bag full of goodies and coupons! I love free stuff! :)

Bella was loving climbing up on all the trucks and as always the Tinkerbell bounce house and blow up slide were favorites!

There were baby goats, and my favorite a booth set up by the Overland Park Arboretum. The kids got to hammer a leaf onto a linen square, then do a stamp on it, fill their cup with dirt and then sprinkle grass seed it. Then, they tied their art work as a cover for their little pots! Bella can't wait to watch her white grass grow!

They had a fun photo booth to dress up and get your pictures taken. As you can see there was little time to prep the kids in between shots, but it was still fun!

Good times with the Fam!
This past week we had a birthday dinner for "Caca" Uncle Kev, swimming with cousins Sophie and Porter, and a farewell dinner for Uncle Kev. We always get so excited to see everyone! This past week each time we've gotten together with them Bella thinks it's for her birthday! It's going to be a long wait these next 6 months! :)

Benjamin is very sympathetic towards Sophie while she's sitting in time out. He knows the feeling!!!

4th of July!!!
We spent a couple days at Gigi and Papa's house to celebrate the 4th. We did a lot of fun activities including feeding the elk, swimming, t-ball, playing on the playset, making home made ice cream, eating, sparklers, water balloons, snaps, and more eating! I think the pictures are worth a million words.
