Bowen's 1 month!

I can't believe an entire month has passed since Bowen was born. It's honestly been a bit of a blur! He's such a sweet and good baby though, so I am so blessed! At his first doctors appointment he had gained back all his birth weight but 1 oz, so he doesn't have to go back until he's 2 months old. He eats and sleeps on a pretty regular schedule but we're still working towards that first night of sleeping all the way through! He's starting to stay awake a little longer between eating and his older siblings LOVE to hold him over and over! Benjamin will go through the whole routine of washing his hands and getting a pillow or blanket situated just to hold him for about 15 seconds! Bella loves to rock, burp, sing, hold, and show him toys. She's going to be such a good little momma one day! Here's Bowen sitting in his book nook! He's so tiny in his reading chair, but I can already see how he's grown in just a few short weeks.

Family Fall Fun night at Preschool

Gigi and I took the kids up to their preschool for the book fair and some fun fall activities! They got to play several fun games that they won candy at, had a trailer ride, ate hot dogs, cotton candy, and popcorn! We also had a surprise visit from Clifford! Benjamin was so excited and couldn't wait to get his picture taken with him. Bella didn't wait to talk to him or get her picture. There was also some face painting and a little pumpkin patch where they got to pick out a little pumpkin to take home. They were excited to see their teachers and bring Gigi up to their school!

Sophie's 4th birthday pARTy!!!

My niece Sophie had the cutest art party to celebrate turning 4! There were endless fun painting stations! The kids enjoyed "spray" painting white sheets that were hung, chalk paint, bubble paint, edible paint on cookies!, handprint paint on canvases, marble painting, and salad spinner painting! We did pretty good at not getting too messy and of course this was right down Bella's alley! She loves arts and crafts so we came home with a lot of projects! Sophie even got to color on her cake to decorate it and when it was cut there were amazing vibrantly colored layers! So yummy as usual! Valerie is an awesome party and activity planner! The kids also enjoyed rainbow colored liquorice and fruit kabobs!

The Greatest Show on Earth

This weekend the Circus came to town! Aunt Kate brought Benjamin and Bella for me since I'm still not movin and groovin yet. They had a blast and loved it! Benjamin was excited and scared most of the show and sat on Aunt Kate's lap holding her arm. The show was pretty loud and had lots of action. They enjoyed their cotton candy and popcorn. They also got tatoos, their favorite! Thanks Aunt Kate for taking us!

Bowen meets the Sachses

We had a family wedding shower for Kate and Kevin last weekend and my Grandma Sachse and my Aunts from my moms side of the family were all there. They loved taking turns holding this sweet boy! He tried not to steal too much of the spotlight. :)

Enjoying the new backyard

Playing soccer with daddy is the new favorite thing to do! They seriously laugh until they fall over with exhaustion chasing daddy trying to get the ball from him.

A little work and lots of play

Gigi and Papa kept Benjamin and Bella while we were in the hospital having Bowen. They couldn't have been more excited that they got to sleep there for 5 nights! They'd been talking about it for weeks as my due date was approaching! They had a ton of fun even helping Jacky and Mary with their chores! They love to vacuum and wipe stuff down. I hope this love of cleaning continues for about 16 more years for my sake! They also had a ton of fun feeding the elk and buffalo, eating yummy food, playing in the creek and rain, and all the usual fun that goes on!
