Citizen of the month award

Bella received the citizen of the month award from the Lee's Summit optimist club.  She was so excited to be choosen from all the kindergarteners at her school.  I was so proud of her!  She was very gracious and was beaming!

 Papa even got to come watch.

 Bella was also the leader of the week since it was her birthday over the Christmas break.  She wrote down her favorite food: spaghetti and meat sauce, favorite book: Ponyella, hobby:  drawing pictures, favorite color: pink, an example of how she wrote her name, and what she wants to be when she grows up:  a veterinarian.  I came back and surprised her at lunch with the boys.  She showed me all around the cafeteria. :)

Bella turns 6

Happy Birthday Bella!  She woke up to find fun decorations, streamers, and balloons hung from her door.  She had a sleepover in Ben's room the night before but sometime during the night the kids came out of the room and the streamers came down.  :)

 She choose for her breakfast pink milk, chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and bacon!

Christmas at Papa and Gigi's

After we had our own family Christmas we made our way over to Papa and Gigi's for lunch, presents, and a day full of fun of playing!  Porter started the day off right with the candy cane pop rocks I brought!

 The kids all got a book.  They are so well behaved! ;)

 Then the madness begins!  haha

 The girls got their first American Girl doll!  They were so excited and this will be a special keep sake!

 A whole new level of madness began as we handed 4 kids under the age of 6 bows and arrows!  Of course this was a favorite!  Bella looks like she's in the movie Brave! haha

 Bowen does actually love his Bean bag chair and plops on it.  He was just not in the mood for sitting still!

Christmas Morning

The kids woke bright and early eager to start one of the most fun and special days of the year!  I love this day as we get to spend it together with family all day long with no interruptions!  

 We discovered Bowen loves candycanes and this large one was no exception!

 Bowen got a few bath toys!  This is his favorite part of the day right now.  I can't wait to see what he does with the finger paints and crayons.

 A big monster truck was Ben's favorite.

 Santa drank all the milk!!!

 Bella's favorite gift was the My little Pony wedding castle.  She's been staring at this for months at the bowling alley. :)
