Crown Center outing #2

This week we got to go to Crown Center again this time with Porter and Sophie!  We did Kalediscope this time and went to "Funville" again.  We packed our lunches this time and it worked out great.  The boys had a fun lunch with Aunt Val while I took the girls to the Hallmark visitors center.  Someone stopped us in the hall and told us they were giving away recordable Disney Princess books!  So we had to check it out!  Here are the boys!  They were waving at people to see if they could get anyone to wave back, lol, it worked!

Last stop before we left, the candy store!
Maybe Sophie was singing a little too loudly?? haha

 On our way to Hallmark...
The FREE book!  We were all so excited!  Bella and I recorded ourselves reading it as soon as we got home!  She said each Princess's name and I read the rest.  It's so sweet.

Spring Break

This week was Spring Break so the kids were out of school.  On Sunday night we had a Sophie, Porter, and Aunt Val sleep over and then we went to Paradise Park to play!  It was a blast as always.  The girls did much better this time going to sleep probably bc Uncle Brandon ended up laying down with the giggle boxes until they fell asleep!

Wednesday we went to Union Station to look at the trains and Crown center to visit "Funville".  It's the free exhibit for kids to play in and the theme right now was pretending to be different occupations.  It was so cute and extremely crowded due to Spring Breakers like ourselves.  Bowen loved watching the trains!

Making wishes... Bella wished to be a fairy.  Later that day as we were walking back to the car she kind of shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well, I'm not a fairy yet!" haha I love her!

Benjamin was a pretty tough lifeguard yelling at Bella to be safe!
And he was a silly surfer not being able to hold his balance.

At the end of the day I asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Bella wanted to be a mommy and Benjamin said a Daddy.  I tried to prompt them to think of an occupation to do before they became a mommy or daddy and it didn't really go anywhere.  Benjamin said he wanted to grow up to be a daddy and where daddy's clothes, and drive a blue truck.  He said he wasn't going to go to work though, he was going to GOLF!  lol Hmmm, I wonder where he gets that?

Easter Chicks!!

The kids were surprised and excited to see Eater chicks peeping in the box already!  We are learning to hold them gently and to watch our for their droppings!  Bowen even loves them and tries to grab at them!
