Deanna Rose

Today we had a little outing to Deanna Rose a FREE children's farm extravaganza! We met up with buddies Samuel, Erick, Luke, and Paulo. Yes, Bella is still the only girl in the group! She gets lots of sweet attention from the boys though. They like to pat her cheek and say "sweet".

As you can see below Bella LOVED her first experience of feeding the goats! She laughed and giggled every time they licked the food out of her hand. Then she decided to start handing out food to the other children around so they could feed the goats. I guess she's learning to share already! We'll see how it goes when little brother or sister arrives!

We enjoyed a great picnic lunch and played on the perfect little playground for 1 and 2 year olds. No assistance required! This was the first time I actually got to sit down and just watch her at a park! It was great!

We can't wait to go back again soon! When she's older there are horse rides, fishing, feeding bottles to baby goats, and trailor rides to look forward to!

Doctor's Appointments

The past couple of weeks Bella and I have both gone to the doctor. Bella had her 15 month checkup! I can't believe we're to that point already! She now remembers this horrid place she comes to get shots and cries even when they weigh and measure her! Poor baby girl! She weighed in at 19 lbs and 6 ounces, which is between the 5th and 10th percentile. (She's only beating cousin Sophie by about 2 lbs) I'm going to have to slip some protein shake in her milk! :) She measured 29 3/4 inches, which was in the 25th to 50th percentile.

Yesterday Brandon and Bella both came along to my doctor's appointment. I am now 10 weeks and 2 days along. Everything went great at the appointment besides Bella not getting her nap and letting everyone know about.

We got to hear the heart beat for the first time and it was about 160 beats per minute. That sound is the most amazing sound to me! It's such a miracle to think that already that baby has arms and legs, the heart is beating, and so much more! It was so cute as soon as the doctor walked in, Bella got quiet and then when we heard the heart beat she grabbed my foot and was waving up at me! I think she's excited to be a big sister!

Fun at Mimi's and Papa's

Last week Bella was asking to go play at Mimi and Papa's because they just had this amazing swing set put it. So of course we stopped by! Last year when Bella was just a baby we tried taking her pictures in the daffodils and it wasn't a good experience. So I thought we'd try again this year and I think she remembered these crazy flowers. I managed to get a couple cute shots.

Okay, so I promised I wouldn't publish this picture, but I thought it was soo cute! Mimi is wearing her "working outdoor/ gardening getup" She wouldn't normally wear this anywhere else. So I apologize to Mimi, but I had to show off the swing set!

Bella loved getting in and out of the swing! She also loved the slide which I didn't get a picture of because we were too busy running around the playfort to prevent Bella from falling out. She's such a dare devil!

This is Bella's all time favorite part of going to Mimi's and Papa's! Every time we hit the bump to go down the driveway she starts giggling and barking like a dog! The first thing she always does is run to the patio door to see if Cole the black lab is out there! It's so funny! She barks nonstop the whole time we're there!

Easter Weekend

This weekend was filled with great family, food, and fun! Isabella loved finding candy and didn't even bother trying to take the wrappers off before she tried to eat some! On Easter Sunday we went to my Uncle Barry and Aunt Eunice's home in Sweet Springs. The weather was cold and rainy so the egg hunt was in the basement. Isabella raked in the goodies with a little help from daddy.

My Grandma Guier loves these little stuffed animals that sing and dance when you push the button. She was showing Bella how to do it and Bella loved dancing along! I think Grandma was a little nervous that she wasn't going to get it back from Bella.

Uncle Kev having fun with the girls. Sophie is either playing peek-a-boo or flashing the camera and Bella had had enough picture taking for the weekend. Uncle Kev is so good with the kids!

Bella is so proud of her basket and insisted on carrying it herself. Notice she has a new spunky hairdo. I think it fits her personality to a T!

On Saturday we drove to Jefferson City and spent the day with my mom's side of the family. The weather was perfect for playing outside!

Bella was wanting to eat the candy and Sophie was wanting to eat the flowers! What cute girls!

Bella knew exactly what do to thanks to all the practice at Mimi's hosue. The past few weeks my mom has laid out plastic eggs for Bella to practice finding and putting in her basket! :)

Grandma Sachse found some legos that Bella loved! She had a great time playing!
