Our Fun Weekend

We had a busy but very fun weekend as a family. Saturday morning Brandon and Bella helped me shop for groceries during a huge sale, it was more like an athletic event! Then we took Bella to the kids workshop at Home Deopt for the first time. It was so fun! She helped Brandon build a fire station piggy bank, they had Smokey the Bear, a fire truck, free popcorn and hot dogs, face painting, basketball and football tosses, and more! It was pretty chilly and windy so we didn't stay too long but enjoyed building and playing the games!

Then, from there we went to Brandon's football game where Bella enjoyed the playground and bringing Brandon his drink during half time and whenever he was on the sidelines. Then we crashed at home for naptime. Bella slept almost 5 hours and we had to wake her up to go to her friend Luke's birthday party. From that party we headed to my parents house for dinner to celebrate my dad's birthday. We enjoyed an amazing steak dinner, marshmallow roast, and yummy desserts! Bella experienced her first camp fire in the fire pit and her first s'more which she literally dove in head first (I think because it was so dark and her vision was blurred from the bright flash) and got marshmallow all in her hair. It was hilarious! We don't get too many weekends where we get to enjoy the three of us being together the whole weekend so it was such a blessing!
