Bella is going to by a Huskie at Highland Park Elementary this year! She has Mrs. Robertson as her teacher who we have heard so many fabulous things about! On the first day of school all the kids were to wear their leadership t-shirts for this big grant project the school gets to participate in, called A Leader in Me. We of course vamped up the huge t-shirt and made cute little knots going down the side. Bella got visited by the backpack fairy, Ms. Frizzle, from the Magic School Bus! She got a glittery note and all kinds of fun school goodies in her bag. There were new folders, pencils, kleenex, germ X, a pad of sketching paper, gummi worms (to remind her to be a book worm), and smarties (bc she's already so smart!)

Here she is! First bus ride and she did fabulous!
I made no bake "smart cookies" for after school snacks! They are chocolate peanut butter and oh so good! We enjoyed those as she went on and on about how awesome kindergarten is! She loves school!
This was the little gift we gave her teacher. A yummy cupcake that Aunt Val made and a note that said, "looking forward to a sweet year!"

This was from meet the teacher a couple nights ago.... she has a cool reading loft in her room! The kids did a spontaneous dance off up in the reading loft! Love them!
