Benjamin Turns 3!!!

With the time change our sleep continues to dwindle!  Benjamin's birthday started at 5:30am this morning and he was met with a birthday trap to get through!  He had to tear down every single paper before moving on.  

 He was so excited to open his presents.  Notice, it's still dark outside!

 His favorite present was the bike!  The handle actually revs up like he's driving a race car!  He learned so quickly and by the end of the first bike ride he was beating Bella!

 We can't wait for the rain around here now that he's all geared up!  The umbrella could end up being a little dangerous!

 He got a bath tub shaving kit!  He's obsessed with Brandon shaving in the mornings.  Every day he talks about it and he lets daddy know when he needs to shave and when he feels too rough!

 Bella and Bowen gave him some Curious George loot!  He got the match game, a giant color and sticker book, the Curious George Birthday Surprise book, and the movie!  Which was watched during breakfast.

 He choose blueberry muffins, sausage, and a banana for breakfast.  Mmmm, candles on everything today!

 His first bike ride on his big boy bike.  I think it's actually a little bigger than Bella's, but don't tell her!

 We also fed the elk!  This one was HUGE!

 My Benny boo!  I love you so much!  We had the best day together!  Playing, riding bikes, feeding the elk, eating lunch at Chick Fill A, taking two more bike rides, and eating dinner and cupcakes!  I love your compassionate heart that you have for others and your siblings especially when they're hurting.  You love Bowen so much and love giving him hugs and kisses and "seeing his face".  You are fearless and tough!  One of my favorite parts of the week is going to Bible study with you and having our special lunches together with just the two of us.  You love to talk about your favorite things and favorite parts of the day with me.  You love this special one on one time too and I can tell because you behave so well when you get this attention!  You also love when I lay down with you at nap to rest and don't ever want me to leave.  You're getting so good at counting and matching and now learning your colors in Spanish.  School is also one of your favorite parts of the week and packing your lunch!  Some of your favorite foods are colby jack cheese and crackers, grapes, carrots, donuts, icing, oatmeal, apples, my vitamin water, and macaroni and cheese!  You're starting to eat a full meal now and I can tell you're growing a lot!  You are wearing big boy underwear and doing great!  I'm so proud of you and your independence!  I also love that you still want to sit in my lap, hold my hand, and wrestle with me!  You are my sweetie even under all the roughness.  I can't wait to see the plans God has for you this year!
