We couldn't wait to celebrate Easter at Gigi and Papa's! We weren't sure if we were even going to be able to because we had just gotten another almost foot of snow! Luckily it was cleared in time to get out of the house and have some family fun!

This year we had 3 parts to the egg hunt. After looking through their baskets the kids were assigned a specific color of egg to find upstairs. They each had 6 to find and inside their colored eggs were quarters! They couldn't wait to come home and put them in their piggy banks! Bella was orange and Ben was purple. They loved this! The second part of the egg hunt was the candy in the basement. No rules for this part! I think we have more Easter candy than Halloween!
This was the third part of the egg hunt. Outside in the snow! We had confetti eggs to throw and smash on each other! Benjamin didn't quite understand it was part of the game when Uncle Kevin smashed one on his head. He still talks about how his feelings were hurt and how that was not very nice! haha, we'll see how he does next year!
