Our Version of The Little Red Hen

"Who will help me shop for groceries?" asked the mommy. "I will", said the sweet Bella. "Who will help me bake the whole wheat chocolate chip banana bread?" asked the mommy. "I will said the sweet Bella.

"Who will watch it bake and make yummy sounds?" asked the mommy. "I will", said the sweet Bella.

"Who will help me eat this yummy bread?" asked the mommy. "I will!" said the sweet Bella...and Daddy!

Haha, we had so much fun today with our activities. We were busy at the grocery store, gym, and Wal-Mart. Our activity for today was reading the book "The Little Read Hen" and baking bread. She also wanted to help make dinner! She tore all the lettuce for the salad and put the carrots in! What a good little kitchen helper! I really want to get her this kitchen bench that is specifically made for little ones to help in the kitchen and it's called "The Kitchen Helper". Google it and check it out, it's pretty cool!

Favorite moment from this week!

Earlier this week Bella and I were having a conversation about going potty. Before I know it she runs into her bathroom and carries out her potty chair. She is laughing hysterically and sets in on the ground and sits on it. She's laughing so hard she's falling over herself and having a difficult time sitting on it correctly, so I'm laughing at her so she of course hams it up! She makes me laugh so much! She has also carried it into the office since than and sat on it to color on a pad of paper while I'm at the computer! Haha, she just loves her princess potty seat! I hope this is a good sign for potty training down the road! We just practice using it before bath time now and she really enjoys it!

City Market

This morning was the perfect morning for City Market! 68 degrees with a few clouds! We went straight to our favorite little breakfast place, Succotash, to eat! Brandon had the burrito of love and I had the egglet sammich! Yum! The burrito of love is a large buttermilk pancake with bacon, egg, and cheese rolled up inside! I should have taken a picture but we were so hungry we forgot!

Bella LOVED riding around in the wagon! This was really the first time we've taken it somewhere to use, so she was very excited about using the cupholders. Before we left we had to get some of the best kettle corn! It was as tall as Bella and of course she loved that too! As we rolled out of there she was waving and blowing kisses to the puppets!

Bella was worn out and fell asleep in a matter of minutes using Raffi as her pillow and holding on to her new little finger puppet!

Photo Shoot - 19 months old!

It's been awhile since I've posted anything since we've been back from vacation, so I finally got a few pictures of Bella for her traditional 18 month pictures. I guess it's better late than never, but she has changed so much since her 1 year pictures! This is from this morning, I'll have to probably try a few more times to get some more good ones. I thought these turned out pretty cute and wanted to share!

Grand Cayman!!!

Last week Brandon and I got to spend the week with his brother Barry and his wife Christie in Grand Cayman! It was one of the most amazing vacations ever! We were all not ready to come home! We were surrounded by the most beautiful scenery on 7 mile beach! As far as you could see were miles of the softest sand and the clearest water!

This was on our patio right outside the condo on the beach at sunset! Gorgeous!

We found this little restaurant that had one of the top 3 burgers I've ever eaten! It also came with fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and jalapenos. We went twice!

Another sunset!

Brandon of course found a football!

My view for the week!

Christie and I before dinner one night.

A walk on the beach, my favorite thing to do!

Barry and Christie and the way to Sting Ray City!

This was us before we got in with the sting rays, you can see them behind us! Do I still look calm? It was quite an experience and I'll have to try to post pictures of us in the water from our water proof camera!

July 10th was our 4th anniversary! We ate at an amazing beachside restaurant called The Wharf! It was beautiful scenery, wonderful food, and great entertainment with a harpist and the Tarpon to feed!

For my anniversary present, Brandon got me a Spanish coin that was found from a shipwreck in the 1600's. The ship went down after being chased by pirates! Christie has one from her wedding present so they gave us the idea! Each coin is authentic and comes with papers and tells the year it was found, the ship it was on, and the story behind it!

4th of July

We enjoyed our traditional Guier 4th of July this year. We had family from both my mom's and dad's sides of the family. There was BBQ, badminton, swimming, and of course fireworks! Bella really enjoyed her chicken leg and was determined to eat it straight off the bone.

She ran herself silly with all the big kids! She wore herself out pretty quick!

Bella did her first sparkler this year with a lot of help from mom and dad! Not a fan of all the smoke!

Here's a picture of Ben and Bella, next year Bella will be showing Ben what the 4th is all about!

Lots of Fabulous Fathers!

Father's Day weekend was filled with so many fun events as a family. We started off by bringing Bella to the lake for the first time to feed the fish! She loved it! Any time she gets a chance to throw something she's in! The carp were pretty gross flopping everywhere, but I was excited to pass this fun little outing on to Bella. I used to come and do the same thing when I was little!

Friday night we took Bella to her first Royal's game for the year where she joined the Blue Crew. She got her own backpack filled with tons of freebies, a hat, and a pennant. Her favorite parts of the game were the nachos, the slide, and cleaning the seats with a wipe at the end of the game. She did great and barely made it through all the fireworks and fell asleep during the finale. Perfectly synchronized!

Bell'a s top secret project for Father's day was finger painting in the tub! She loved getting messy and making a masterpiece at the same time! Brandon, her Papa, and Grandpa all the loved the priceless work of art they got!

Brandon's special surprise that I worked on was getting his hall of fame memorabilia framed. I think it turned out so great!
